Data controller

The data controller for personal data processed in connection with the use of the masuriaesport.com website is the Masuria Esport team. For any matters related to the processing of personal data, you can contact us at: kontakt@masuriaesport.pl.

What data we collect and why

The website does not require registration or login to browse its content. We collect personal data only when you provide it to us yourself, through the contact form.

The contact form asks for a nickname or first name, a message subject, and the message content. We use this data only to reply to your message and to continue the related correspondence. We do not ask for an email address — we reply through the contact method you provide in your message (e.g. a Discord handle).

The message content is sent directly to our email inbox and is not stored in the website’s database.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing data submitted through the contact form is your voluntary consent, given by sending the message (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and, to the extent necessary to reply, our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data retention period

We keep the data included in your message for as long as necessary to reply and handle your inquiry, but no longer than 12 months from the last contact, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Recipients of data

Your data may be processed by service providers we use to operate our email and website hosting, solely to the extent necessary to provide those services and under data processing agreements concluded with them. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

  • access your data and obtain a copy of it,
  • rectify (correct) your data,
  • erase your data (“the right to be forgotten”),
  • restrict processing,
  • object to processing,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), if you believe the processing infringes GDPR.

Voluntary nature of data provision

Providing data in the contact form is voluntary but necessary for us to be able to reply to your message.
